Title: migrating from win 2k to sme

i am using windows 2000 server and now i want to migrate over sme but there is one problem i also want to migrate all users created in windows 2k server to sme and dont want to recreate the users in sme server anyone can tell me how can i do this ur help will be appreciated thanks

Well I am unaware of anyway to import the users from a win2k box

But something that will save you time is the Lazy admin tools thanks to Michiel Blotwijk
it reads in users from a flat file and creates them in one go... perfect if you have many users to set up and don't want to do them one by one in the server manager panel

not quite as simple as that  unfortuantly, as the user profiles and the domain security have to be maintatined, I am looking into a how to for this at the moment, but until that is finished try looking here -

Then have a look on the samaba sites, it may be worth holding out until samba3 is integrated fully into SME, its currently in beta testing.
