Title: ftp user access
Post by: smeuser on January 21, 2004, 05:40:38 PM
I've used 5.12 for quite some time now and a 6.0 server is built and being configured.  We use The horde webmail package exclusively for mail, calendars, todo lists, etc.  The horde vacation module won't work on 6.0.  It modifies the .qmail file via FTP (locally of course).  The problem seems to be FTP doesn't have full access to the users root folder, just the home and Maildir folders.  How can I give users full access to their own root directory via FTP?
thanks,

This problem not only relates to ftp, but imap also.  Webmail cannot be used because it is denied access to the users mail folder also.  At least that is what is happening to my 6.0 final server.

My webmail is working OK.  For me anyway, just the vacation(using ftp) doesn't work as expected.
