Title: Faxing

Can the SME server be used to allow users on the network to send faxes ??

If so - is there an existing contrib for this??

Alot of people use Hylafax which can be found here http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/contribs/star/mitel/contrib/hylafax/

I prefer the set of rpms that the howto at www.chaloner.ca recommends. In particular I would use a ghostscript rpm that was built for SME specifically. AFAIK there are two of those: Charlie Brady's had one in his contrib area on the ftp.e-smith.org mirrors for ages (that's what Chaloner uses). I built one for my e-smith-cups contrib as well. Avoid the ghostscript rpms from Red Hat, they pull in loads of superfluous stuff. Why people continue to recommend it for hylafax and the samba pdf-writer is beyond me.
