Title: What do I need to compile software?
Post by: crazybob on January 25, 2004, 09:47:04 PM
I guess I am not sure which way to try. I have a portmaster PM2 remote access server that I want to set up on my system.

From the documentation I find I either need to set up a RADIUS server, or run a program called pmnetd on my server. Pmnetd is written in c, and needs to be compiled. It makes the portmaster appear as a bunche of tty ports hooked to the server.

I am running SME6.0 final, and am very happy with it, and am not looking to change at this time.

Has anyone run the radius contrib that is available for SME 5.6?

Could someone tell me what I might need to compile pmnetd.c or any program written in c ?

Thanks   :-D

Hi,

You'll need the dev-tools.
You can get it from http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/contribs/saco/contrib/devtools_SME6.0/

Regards.
