Title: Intel Pro1000 Network Card driver
Post by: M1K on January 25, 2004, 11:00:10 PM
Greetings,

Has anyone ever built the driver below on SME server?
Does anyone have a build of the driver mentioned below? I need one for SME6, Intel686.

===========================8<=======================
 Base driver (5.2.22) for the IntelĀ® PRO/1000 family of Desktop and Server Adapters known to build properly on Linux* kernels on 2.4.x kernels through 2.4.20.  For Linux* base driver for 2.2 kernels use [e1000-4.3.15.tar.gz]

Hi,

That card is detected out-of-the-box on SME 6.0. Are there some problems with the default drivers? I ask because I'm using that card in my server now and I'm wondering if there's anything I should know.

Regards,

Derek
