version 6.0
During an offsite SSH putty session, I added a local network and when comitting the change, the server became unresponsive. I lost comms with the server.
Now, at the local console, logged into the text mode server-manager, I can see the additional local network, but I am unable to delete it. After a reboot, I still cannot communicate with the server from the remote site.
Can I hand edit any template file to clear what seems to have been an inappropriate set of ip numbers?
Many thanks
David

Update:
I now have remote access restored, and I can get into the web-browser based server-manager. :-))
When I press the buttons to remove the local network I added, the server returns "Error occurred when removing network"
The network I attempted to delete is still shown in /etc/hosts.allow (which still has yesterday's date modified) but is no longer shown in the graphical server-manager.
Any thoughts to flush that network out of hosts.allow ?
Thanks

did you solve this?
I have a similar issue:
- I lost access to a remote sme6.0 (changing to private gateway).
Now I cannot,
- add remote access on its lan (get a # part way
through using console, and nothing is created in server-manager)
- change the private server to just server in the configure (falls back to #)
how do I make sme6.0 'rework' its internal configuration to hopefully let me get past this ?
