Title: SSH on e-smith 4.1.2 problem
Post by: Anders on July 17, 2001, 07:39:15 AM
Hi there, I just reinstalled my e-smith from 4.1.1 to 4.1.2. I could use ssh from Red Hat Linux to e-smith 4.1.1, but I couldn't do it again from RH Linux to 4.1.2 after I reinstalled. It had error message that " fingerprint has changed.....add 01:03:........ to /root/.ssh/... " something like that.  If anyone know how to fix it... pls let me know.

Thank you in advance

Anders.

Have you enabled it in the e-smith-manager ?

That sounds to me like your RH client is just recognizing that the SSH id has changed for the ip address. You probably need to clear the client to let it accept the new authentication key. Sorry, I don't know how you would do it though.

Hi Ronald Tanis....I did enable the SSH on e-smith-manager. And Bobby sounds right, so anyone know how to clear the authentication key on RH???
