One of my SME5.6 servers becomes unstable at approx 51 days. The server-manager screen shows, but doesn't accept keyboard strokes. The network is unresponsive. The only solution is to power down the server. Twice now I've had printing problems after a lockup and had to delete /var/cache/samba/ntprinters.tdb and /var/cache/samba/printing.tdb
Then I shutdown lpd, restarted smb and started lpd.
I am then able to print.
I did a search on this file and found others with the same issue.

I noticed that I have problems with 6 beta3 slowing down after about 120 days, but as opposed to a windows box that you have to reboot every 14 days..... hahaha.

Most probably it's a hardware issue.
Try testing your memory using memtest from Charlie Bradys contrib area.
You could also try swapping your RAM for different RAM, and also increasing the amount of RAM
Check the Red Hat hardware compatibility list to see if you mother board and other bits are supported
