When trying to access my website which is hosted by another ISP I always get the DNS Error. Is there a way to browse our company website?

What you need to do it put the IP address of your externally hosted website into the Hostname & Addresses page in the server manager.
Just click on the modify link that corresponds to the www hostname for the domain you want to change. Then select remote from the list and enter you the external IP address.
This should then forward and requests for www.yourdomain.com to the external website.
I do this for webmail (which is externally hosted)when my link goes down and I have to dial-up

I have the same problem.
2 registered domains hosted externally. I type the ip adresses into "hostnames and adresses", location remote. If I try to access it: no route to host or i am redirected to the internal primary domain.
The two domains are set up as "virtual domains" too, maybe that is wrong.
I tried every combination including "publish globally_" with gives you some additional options to mess around - which i basicly not understand.

can't remember specific setting as it was configured a couple of months ago but will have a look at how mine's configured tonight if I can escape the snowy hell hole of Wolverhampton and get home!
:pint: Otherwise can anybody recommend some decent boozers in Wolverhampton that'll not mind me spending a lot of money in them in exchange for 90 winks on a bar stool :pint:

Just checked my settings.
for my externally hosted webmail I've the the hostname webmail, the domain mydomain, location Remote, Publish Globally is ticked and the IP address of the external server is in the IP address box on the second page.
That's all.
Hope you can get yours working

I did that, Hostname to remote and external IP of www.mycomany.com and also published globally and same external ip but no good same error.
-
AFAIK, publish globally only works for registered Mitel ServiceLink subscribers.
-
Can someone tell me clearly wot to do pls.
-
Yes, service link is only for regged users. I've got a clue but will have no time to check today. Will try it out on Monday.
-
.. any update on this; would love to find out how to use the publish globally option to defer to an external DNS server

I lost the clue but i had the same errors until i entered in hostnames and adresses: visibility local, Location local and under Local IP the external IP adress.
That made the it work. If you can't see your site from behind SME typing www.yoursite.bla, try yoursite.blah without www. Worked for me. Don't forget to restart httpd, squid, dnsservice, whatever.
