Title: Old chestnut, Decent backup software?
Post by: Drifting on January 28, 2004, 09:52:17 PM
Can the panel recommend an easy to use (and preferably) free tape backup software solution?
Although the one in E-smith works well, It would be nice to be able to selectively restore a single file. I took a look at Arkeia, but found it very confusing, and could find little support for version 4.

I've used Darrell's contrib on 5.6 and it worked great.  I'm not sure if it works on 6.0.  Maybe someone else could post their results of trying the contrib on 6.0.
