I downloaded the ISO and burned it, but it's not bootable :(. I've tried several times, with several different burning packages. Is there a way i can create a floppy boot disk(s) to get the install going? Thanks in advance.

be sure you are not just copying the iso image to the cd be are actually making the large iso file in to the many little files that are supposed to be on the cd. please check this.
do not use a rw cd rom disc use the cdr write only.. some earlier cd rom readers will not read the RW media!
that is all I can offer form my bag of tricks!

Thanks for your reply
ISOs are associated with EZCD creator, so i just double clicked the ISO and EZCD creator pops up ready to recorder... When i used CDRWin on the second attempt, i made sure i select all the right options ( i think ). Isn't there a way i can make boot disks? What about systems that can't boot from CD, there has to be a way to have a boot disk.

Please see the howto - it provides step-by-step instructions on burning and on creating a boot floppy:

BTW, there's a *lot* of documentation on this site. Have a look around when you get a chance.
