Title: Does SME 5.6 have PHP CLI installed?
Post by: andyberry on February 07, 2004, 05:14:26 PM
Hi.
I'm trying to install an ICQ Wap gateway on my 5.6 installation.
The readme has this line in it:
The PHP CLI home directory should be set to where your PHP installation keeps it CLI-PHP executable file. (Most commonly c:/php/cli/). Do NOT forget the trailing /-sign!

I've searched for the cli directory but I can't find it.
I know I'm missing something here.
For your reference, the gateway is called WapMess, and is available on sourceforge at: http://sourceforge.net/projects/wapmess/

Thanks for any help.

Not as it is.

PHP rpms before 4.3.1 did not had CLI support. So e-smith 5.6 does not have PHP with CLI as it is. You can upgrade you PHP rpms from DanBrown's contrib area.

The issue is recenlt discussed so try a few searchs..

Good luck.
