Title: problems sending mails
Post by: jor70 on February 12, 2004, 02:27:13 PM
Hi, in sme 6 server-manager I choose to not use an external smtp server. All outgoing mails are working fine except those sending to users of my same ISP (??)  For those mails I always get

From: MAILER-DAEMON@server.myserver.com
Subject: failure notice

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at server.myserver.com.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

Connected to 24.232.0.160 but sender was rejected.
Remote host said: 530 authentication required for mail submission

any idea how to fix ?

I still have this problem, is there a way to config sendmail to send some domain mails via another smtp server instead itself ?
thanks
