I've installed bpalogin-2.0.2-1 and e-smith-bpalogin-1.3.0-02 on SME 5.5 machine, currently I can connect to bigpond server and surf the web, however,my machine re-logons to auth server about every 30 minutes, and in /var/log/messages file, the following log was found:
Feb 16 08:12:41 lijiesyd bpalogin[1814]: Received a heartbeat from unexpected source 61.9.192.13:5051
Feb 16 08:12:41 lijiesyd bpalogin[1814]: Badly structured packet received - discarding
Feb 16 08:19:41 lijiesyd bpalogin[1814]: Timed out waiting for heartbeat - logging on
===================
Can someone please tell me how fix this problem, I understand if I enable port 5051 so the cable heartbeat can be received, the problem may be fixed, but I don't know how to do it. Can someone please tell me how to do this in version 5.5 please? (the link of http://www.e-smith.org/bboard//read.php?f=3&i=26549&t=26542 is lost)
Thanks in advance

:lol: I finally solved the problem by doing followings
1. Run #nslookup -sil 61.9.192.13
then find out the
name = spr3.nsw-remote.bigpond.net.au
2. modify /etc/resolve.conf to add following lines
search nsw-remote.bigpond.net.au
nameserver 61.9.192.16
nameserver 61.9.192.13
3. reboot machine.
Note that: Never run /usr/sbin/bpalogin/bpalgin.conf.sh to configure bpalogin, just follow Charlie Brady' instruction (http://www.e-smith.org/contrib/rpm-index/RPM-e-smith-bpalogin-1.3.0-02.src.html) to configure bpalogin
