Title: Pass spamassassian scaned email to internal server.
Post by: Larry on February 19, 2004, 03:15:28 PM
For reasons I can not control we will continue to use a Miacrosoft Exchange Server for our mail server.  It is behind an SME 5.6 gateway and I've been told to set up Spamassassian to scan all incomming email, delete those flagged as spam and pass the balance on the Exchange Server for it's standard processing.

I was hopeing to just be able to add a .procmailrc entry that would as the last entry pass on email i.e.

:0

# all else goes to the Exchange Server

or something simialr.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

If you wan't to use sa globally, then delegate a mail server in server manager (to your exchange server) and follow this link.

If you want to have user accounts on the SME server, and use procmail to tag, sort and forward mail, then go to http://sme.swerts-knudsen.dk/index.html

There is some very informative threads in the forum on this subject.

They both work very well
