Title: email and dynamic ip

Hi'
I registered a domain name at dynDNS.org for my server, but I can't email to my box using this name. I can mail around my local network using username@myhost.xxx but it doesn't work if i try to send to username@myhost.dyndns.org ( these are not the real names ). Can anyone straighten me out on this? thanks.

You need to publish MX record for your domain.
in your case dyndns.org is the domain-name and mail servers responsible for e-mail service for it are already used and not yours.
The way around is to pretend that domain is myhost.dyndns.org.
1. Set up virtual domain on your SME myhost.dyndns.org
2. Set up MailExchanger (MX) record to point to host myhost.dyndns.org for domain myhost.dyndns.org

I have my SME6 server in Server-Only mode and behind an ADSL router.

I only have ports 80 and 443 open. I fetch my e-mails via fetchmail contrib.

Do I have to open any other ports (like IMAP-143) ?

It work perfect when I opened port 25.
