I have a fresh install of SME6.0 and when I try to run setup I get:

"Sorry, but you appear to running PHP version 4.1.2. phpWebSite requires 4.2.2 or above" ???

Title: PHP Upgrade

Yes you will need to do a PHP Upgrade to get it running.

I read the following thread to lead me through it.

If you need any further help please let me know.

Tony,
Thanks for replying. I might give it a miss ... sounds too complicated ... and I don't want to break anything right now. Maybe some guru will package the PHP upgrade one day.
Thanks again

Alec

The php upgrade was very easy to do and did not break anything on my 6.0.1-01 install. I have a lot of contribs running along with xoops, exoops, mambo and phpwebsite.

If you would like to give it a go and would like some assistance flick me an email and I will help any way possible.
