There should be a pict allong with the text on the index page. The pic shows when I use Opera or Netscape but not when I use IE 5.5, I don´t know about IE 6 because I have not that version installed. In Mac with IE 5.0 the images shows OK sometimes but from time to time the text flows in the pict.
Any idees?

I am glad to say that there was nothing wrong in my php.ini, there must have been a bug in the phpWebSite code because after installing a new mod (Article Manager 2.2) the images shows OK in all tested webreaders.
