Title: mailrules blocks email to my nonexistant users I want
Post by: exodus on February 29, 2004, 06:13:22 AM
I installed the mailrules rpm on a 6.0 so that I could block emial to one bad user, but now all of the other email addresses I created fail aswell.  Does anyone have any idea what I can change to get every one working execpt the few that I explicitly block.

I checked and I have the forward email to invalid users to admin.

Thanks

I did some looking and I see that the file /var/qmail/control/mailrules.default gets regenerated each time you start qmail.  I belileve this contains the parts I want to remove.

#------------------------------------------------------------
# Reject invalid local recipients
#------------------------------------------------------------
d*:*@*.server.com:Sorry, that is an invalid e-mail address

Any idea what script was installed to do this from mailrules?
