Title: backup system 20-40gb which one for 5.6 ?

Hi, I thought some experienced users might help
I'm looking for options on scsi backup units that work well with e-smith 5.6 and flexbackup.
I'm thinking of purchasing a Seagate std2401LW dds4
and a Adaptec asc29160 card. Has anyone had susess with this combination. and are there any others available in Australia. Reagrds Nickv

Try Sony's AIT-1 drives.

I've used both IDE and SCSI versions of the drives with great success. However, I would dump flexbackup and use Arkeia. Great for your sanity when you ever need to restore anything. :)
