Title: Login Script Server Manager Panel

There have been a few posts about getting e-smith-loginscript-0.2-3.noarch.rpm addon to work on SME Server v6.0. There has been a change between v5.6 and v6.0 as to where the netlogon folder which contains netlogon.bat and netlogon.template is stored.

V5.6 /home/netlogon
V6.0 /home/e-smith/files/samba/netlogon

There have been some attempts to get this contrib working on SME SErver 6.0 but with no luck as far as I can tell.

I have it working in a fashion and need some more users to test it for me. All I have done is simply to copy the netlogon folder from /home/e-smith/files/samba/netlogon to /home/netlogon and presto it all works. This is probably going to break something but I am not sure and need some other to test it and report any problems before you try it on a  production machine. Ultimately it would be best to get this contrib working with the current netlogon folder locations.

it is not neccessarry to copy the folder.
just create a symbolic link (man ln) and you have stored the information only in one place.

but i think there is a setting where you can set the path for the logon-scripts.
maybe in samba.conf?

Yeah I will test this if you need it. I have been trying to get something like this working. Although from all reports this was broken.

Any help I can give I would be happy to.
