Title: SSL Certificates
Post by: charlie on March 10, 2004, 03:53:25 PM
I searched the forums and have only found information on creating an ssl certificate. I'm looking for a solution that eliminates the nasty ssl warning to customers coming to my webstore. When I go to most websites I'm not greated by this. I see that I can buy a yearly ssl certificate for as low as $49. Is this what I need to do? Any recommendations? My current certificate says I'm XYZ company. Do I need to correct this first? Any help would be appreciated.

You can install the cert into you browser and once installed it's trustworthy. Just look what it says when acessing your site. It is, depending on browser, possible to install a cert permanently.

I'm trying to not scare off customers and am looking for a way that will be done automatically.
