I keep receiving this msg on the screen of my SME 6.0 server. I don't know what it means or how to fix it. Help please.
<mail.info> spamd (1648): Connection from localhost (127.0.0.1) at port 2378
The port number keeps changing all the time, i.e. 2392, 2395, etc.
Thanks,

as far as i know
thats just spamassassin doing its thing, scanning incoming messages for spam
Although where excatly are you getting this? looking in the maillog?! or when ur logged in via ssh it just comes on the screen!?

I'm getting the messages on the screen connected directly to the SME server, right on top of the blue main screen (you know the one that says configure the server and test internet connection, etc.)
At some point, there will be a msg saying that I should restart the server. This is happening so frequent, like every ten minutes or so.

on your server console?!
I'm afraid I have no idea as to why that would be happening, Have you checked your log files? You might be able to get some useful information as to why this is happening in them
/var/log/maillog
/var/log/messages

I find the same message repeated in the /var/log/maillog log file. An entry is repeated every few minutes.
