I was wondering if any of you spam filter geniuses have looked at http://www.nuclearelephant.com/projects/dspam/
It is supposed to be one of the very best out there.

I've decided to bump this thread gently to the top, as I have recently installed dspam on my Smoothwall to filter out bad stuff.
I'm very happy with the results so far.
0% phishing mails, 0% virus mails and 0% pr0n mails is passed through, which means a 100% success rate.
The daily count of spam mails are decreasing as the filter is trained and picks up which mail is good and which is spam. There is still a few days to go training the filter, but already there is a huge difference.
My setup is that Smoothwall filters out the mail before forwarding these to my Exchange 2003 server.
Dspam makes use of statistical filtering which is very different, more flexible, self-learning (and better) than heuristical filtering, as heuristical filtering tend to be "fixed" and is not flexible. And statistical filtering updates itself, whereas heuristical filtering has to be updated manually.
Who else have success stories with the dspam mail filter?
