Does anyone know what the purpose of the cron job ip-change is?
Thanks!

I think it's for those who use dynamic dns, to check if the their IP has changed
and then fire up the respective client to update their DNS-entry e. g. on
dyndns.org

That's what I thought. Do you know if I can remove it from my cron.weekly directory? I have a fixed IP.
I noticed that it runs each week and thought I could remove it, but wasn't sure.
