Anybody know how to get netmeeting to work through e-smith 4.1.2?
I can call a system from windows through e-smith to the outside, no prob
It connects, The other person can hear me talk, But as soon as I stop talking
so does the voice, I can still hear, see the other person but they can no longer hear
me.
Any ideas out there?

I believe the problem is with your NetMeeting settings, not with e-smith. I run NetMeeting through the e-smith box with no trouble.
I haven't figured out how to get the e-smith box to pass on NetMeeting calls to me inside the network yet, but that's not a priority right now. Of course, if anyone knows, please drop me a line.

I to can get netmeeting to work on the local lan, voice, video
But I want it to pass through e-smith to the outside world (internet)
Maybe if I set it up as a gateway for netmeeting?
Anyone out there help me with this?

You shouldn't have to do anything with e-smith to have it work externally. I used it for the first time on an e-smith server on Saturday, having previously used it on another distro, and it worked with no change to default e-smith settings. You will need to log on to an ILS server to connect to the other party, as it doesn't work (AFAIK) connecting point-to-point. I use ils.netmeeting.co.uk, which seems fairly stable.

Thanks Des, I haven't tried it through a ILS server, just point to point
Will give it ago, next is to get the MSN Messenger voice chat to work through e-smith, text works ok, just no voice.
Thanks again, will let you know how it goes

Yes I did find the problem.
You have to be logged on to a ils server, eg: ils.bytebeam.com
once you login, you can make calls to other people on the server
But you cant receive any
The vidoe/audio works!
