Does anyone know if there is a GPL multipop RPM for the 6.0 release?
I've searched the forums and the Dungog site. The forum posts say to search the forums and check the Dungog site - but the site seems to be incomplete (and has been since last year), and does not mention the multipop RPM as a GPL contribution.
Anyone had any luck, or do I need to purchase a commercial module now?

The rpms needed are:
sme-upgppp-1.0-1.noarch.rpm
sme-fetchmail-1.0-2.noarch.rpm
The sme-upgppp-1.0-1.noarch.rpm needs to be installed first. Alternativly go to: http://sme.swerts-knudsen.dk/index.html?frame=http%3A//sme.swerts-knudsen.dk/howtos/howto_9.htm
Jesper has written a script to do the hard work for you, I hope this helps.

Thanks, I'll have a play around with those contribs. I've installed them and looked around the admin screens, but I can't really make out what is happening in there. I don't know if something in those admin screens is lost in translation, or I need to do some more research.
All I want to do, in the end, is to pick up e-mail from a bunch of pop3 mailboxes (about 10 of them) and feed them into the SME server as though they were sent direct.

So far as I can work out, the SME6.0.x version is not GPL - there is a subscription charge to pay to use it. At least, I can't find anywhere to download that RPM any more (I remember the 5.1.2 version).

Or perhaps it is still GPL, but can't be downloaded without a subscription - I'm not sure. If that is the only option, then I will to do that, but I would rather not quite yet, because I am not sure if the SME server is going to do what I want it to do in this particular instance.

The dungog.net is a paid for multipop and works great, is easier to understand (for me anyhow) than the Vincent Filali one but Vincent's does the same thing. What problems are you are having? What can't you understand? Maybe we can sort it out here.

I think the screens are a little daunting due to my lack of understanding of what they do. There is mention of multipop and multidrop - trying to understand what they are.
From what I can tell, it is possible to set up a matrix for devilery of e-mail that depends on the both the recipient and the domain from which the e-mail was fetched (or was sent to). SME treats accounts as unique on a server, and each account is effectively a member of all domains that the server manages or fetches e-mail from. Multidrop kind of works around that, by allowing e-mail to be routed to different users depending upon which domain the e-mail was sent to (so info@one.example.com could go to 'fred' and info@two.example.com could go to 'jane', rather than both going to the 'info' account). Is that what multidrop is all about? If so, then I _probably_ don't need multidrop.
I have found the settings in that contrib that allows a group of POP3 mailboxes to be attached to each account, so each account can pick up e-mail from existing POP3 mailboxes. That is definately what I need.
Now, if I am picking up e-mail from an 'info' POP3 account, could that be routed to a group on the SME server? Would I need to create an account dummy_info to pick up that e-mail, then set a forwarding rule to send it all on to the 'info' group? Or is this where multidrop comes into play?
I am trying to learn as much as I can now, before I install this server on a client site, as I don't want to be doing too much messing around there ;-)
