I installed an SME server last night in preperation of hosting a MUD.  When I tried to build the mud code, I got an error basically stating I had no compiler installed, Sorry I don't have the exact error as Im at work currently.

I am very new to SME and need a bit of hand holding when it comes to adding new items.

Can someone point me to a rpm that will get me set, or if you need more information post your questions here and Ill see if I can figure out enough to answer them.

Hi,

You would need to download files from here http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/contribs/hpe/Dev%20Tools/SME%20V6.x%20-%20DevRPM's/

Remember installing devtools increases security risks, so I would recommend compiling code on a test machine then once done that upload compiled files onto main production box without worrying about the possible security risks.
