Hi All
Have a HP SCSI Travan T20 tape drive, but it does not work!
"/dev/st0: Input/output error" is the offending line in messages.
Do I need to change some configuration file?
Running SME 6.01.
Also tried direct mt commands.

Welcome to the Mitel Networks SME Server.
[root@server root]# mt status
/dev/tape: No such file or directory
[root@server root]# mt -f /dev/st0 status
/dev/st0: Input/output error
[root@server root]# mt -f /dev/nst0 status
/dev/nst0: Input/output error
Thanks for any direction ;-)

It sounds like a tape or head problem. Try another tape, or cleaning the heads. What happens if you do a find . -print | cpio -oBvc > /dev/st0?

It was some sort of head problem. I took the hardware apart and really cleaned it a lot, then it worked.
Thanks !!!!!
