Title: i cant send mails using PHP programs on SME

I have installed the new SME 6 and i would like to put a php mailform on my page nad PHP works when i send mail from it it says mail sent BUT nobody gets the mails can anyone tell me what is wrong, i must tell you all im new to linux, hope to get some help
