Title: How to turn off mail server

Hi I am new to Linux and this is my first go at SME server. I shud say that I am very impressed.

I need help with uninstalling or at least disable the mail server.

I love the gateway and file server portion of this s/w. I love the mail server but I am already running another mail server.

I notice that I am unable to send some mails via the qmail . Some mails was returned with error 550 unable to deliver due to recepient do not reconise smtp server. I never had problem with my other version of mailserver. Thus I wud like to turn off the mail system in SME.

Can someone out there help me? Please. Thank You in advance.

FYI I use sme at home for charity work. Thank you

hello

the easiest way to control any of your services is to install
the service control contrib then simply un-check any service you don't want to run and then just click the save button

I don't recall the url for the services contrib but if you do a search on this site you should find it
