Title: How to make a back-up to a dvd writer

I run sme 6.0.1.

Is there a working rpm to make a backup to dvd or cd-r/w.

I think you should look at cd-utils.sourceforge.net .
There is a module for SME!

I have used with CDRW but it should work with DVDs!

the problem with this advice is that the link to the cd-utils module at cd-utils.sourceforge.net is broken. The older versions in that package, if you could find it, do not work with dvd's with out a great deal of work. It is unfortunate that there is vary little work done on this aspect.

I'm in the process of upgrading cd-utils to work for DVD's under 6.0.1 I'll post another message here when a beta release is available
