Title: Server side mail filters
Post by: Joe Frost on August 15, 2001, 06:05:03 PM
Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to implement server-side mail filtering? I would like to run this in two different ways:

1. The server parses incoming mail for any attachments that are executable and bouces the message back to the sender with a response asking them to send it as an archive if they meant to send it.

2. To file incoming mail directly into a folder for a particular user, either because the folder is specified as part of the address of because they have server side mail filtering set up.

Thanks for your help,

Joe

Hi,

I found a article filter from    Peter Samuel  on:

http://lists.omnipotent.net/qmail/200008/msg01724.html

with a good script.

I don't if Peter as implemented qmail filter on a e-smith. If yes can you explain how to implement qmail-qfilter on e-smith?

Thank you,

Regards,

Gwenaƫl
