Title: I can't admin my SME Server by Web-Admin
Post by: Dufy on April 14, 2004, 05:01:10 PM
Hi everybody...

I have a problem, i intall my sme server 6.01, and its every thing ok... but, when i star, not the pre-configuration after instal, but the configuration of my server using web-admin (http://ip_adress/server-manager) and after i configured somethings, i lost the web acess to my server, but it do not show me any error page... just "this page do not exist, can“t be resolved". When i make reboot of my server i can see that i have some services disable, like httpd-admin, and httpd-e-smith... i think tha i need to have this services running to have web acess to my server... so i do the next comands
/etc/init.p/httpd-admin start and restart and reload...

But the server say that it cant be start the service, say that the service is disable...

Please, how can i start this services or what i have to do to have web-admin acess to my server?

Thanks in advanced,
Congratulations to all for your work,

Dufy

IIRC...

go to command line and type...

/sbin/e-smith/config setprop httpd-admin enable

see if that works!
