Title: a cronjob script that checks the connection

Can anyone help me to write a cronjob that ping's a internet adres every 15min orso ... and if it doesn't work it puls down the eth1 en then up again ...
(my ADSL modem does IP-spoofing on DHCP and connects itself when giving a ip)

my SME 5.6 does that automatic.
if it detects a connection loss then it re-connects automatic.
after that it gets a new IP-adress from my IPS.
