Title: Going to attempt to upgrade to 6.0.1-01 from 5.6....help

My client wants to add the features discussed in the custom build 6.1-01

My question is, when I boot from the CD that has the upgrade on it, will it erase all of our user accounts, domain settings, account settings, etc?

Also, I have installed this new custom package on one of my old home PC's.  Installed great, but I do not know how to enable some of the packages on it. Like Clamav, and some of the other content filtering packages.  How do I implement these additional packages on this new server?

Do a search, this topic has been discussed many times.

Again the search feature is you friend. The Contribs (http://no.longer.valid/mylinks/viewcat.php?cid=58) and HowTo (http://no.longer.valid/mylinks/viewcat.php?cid=62) or How-to Classification (http://no.longer.valid/phpwiki/index.php/How-to%20Classification) are very good places to start.

There is a very long thread here (http://forums.contribs.org/index.php?topic=21264.0) with a lot of discussion on the SME 6.0.1-01 Custom ISO.

There is a lot of information in the other RPM's folder on the custom ISO check in that for instructions.

How do I check in the RPM's of the iso???

Ok, I figured out how to get the rpms from the iso.

no need to respond.  Thanks again.

having trouble with the squidguard tar.gz

it wont make the directories when unpacking....not sure why.
