On my Test Machine SME6.0.1 (server-only) I made a re-installation floppy and looked in ks.cfg.
I don't understand some of the values.
network --bootproto static --ip 192.168.1.1 --netmask 255.255.255.0 --gateway 192.168.1.2 --nameserver 127.0.0.1
Where did it get the 192.168.1.x & 127.0.0.1 from? I don't recognise these as being valid for my network.
ExternalIP=192.168.65.17
ExternalNetmask=255.255.255.0
GatewayIP=192.168.0.254
InternalInterface=interface|Broadcast|192.168.0.255|Configuration|static|Driver|8139too|IPAddress|192.168.0.55|Name|eth0|Netmask|255.255.255.0|Network|192.168.0.0
LocalIP=192.168.0.55
LocalNetmask=255.255.255.0
dnscache=service|Forwarder|192.168.0.254|status|enabled
Where did it get the 192.168.65.17 from? All of the other numbers in this section look right.
Is this a Bug - or feature - or just my lack of knowledge?
