Title: install fails "starting bootstrap console"

I have down loaded ISO 4.1.2 and checked the MD5, burn onto a CD and installed.
On reboot the system hangs at " starting bootstrap console".
I found one other enquiry about the same problem, but no answers.
Any ideas ?
