Hi,
What do you think about updating kernel ?
The 2.4.20 have many security bugs and is easy to hack.

I think upgrading to a 2.4.26 with security options enabled will be great for the sme project

If needed i can help building the kernel,  but i have no knowledge in building rpm.
If someone want to work with me on the project it will be cool

Hi,

I have allready made a RPM for 2.4.25 version of the kernel with all patch for iptables, pptp, i2c and more.

I allready made a 2.4.26 rpm but don't test it at the moment, I will keep you informed when test are done.

Do you need help to test the 2.4.26 ?

Hey, Thank you both for not keeping this under your hats in the French forum.
I for one have no French at all (my loss, I know !) and I admire your efforts to avoid being 'nationalistic' when it comes to languages.
The kernel question is of generel interest, and I'm dying to hear more as your testing comes along, MasterSleepy !
