Title: phpnuke in an ibay
Post by: bofh on April 28, 2004, 10:13:13 AM
Hi you all,

I have this question.
I want to install phpnuke in an ibay and I did, no real problems there.
The only thing is, that phpnuke thinks it is at the root of the webserver and not in an ibay.

Code: [Select]

situation now:
http://www.myserver.com/nukesite

situation I like to see:
http://www.myserver.com/ibay/nukesite

I tried google, but I did not found the solution.
So now I try this forum.
Who can help me on this?

Even though you used the wizard to set up PHP nuke, what you will not have to do is go through the config files in PHPNUKE and fix the root path.

You should be able to find out fromt he PHPNUKE website or Forums which files are used as the config files. When put in path to the ibay you now have the files in.

I am not sure if PHPNUKE uses the absolute path or the hostname path. (Absolute path being /home/e-smith/files/ibays/ibay/html) But I know postnuke does. PHPNUKE most likely does also.
