Title: How do I permanently enable SCSI adapter for DDS drive
Post by: ScottieDog on April 28, 2004, 12:03:49 PM
Some time ago, I installed a DDS drive in a Dell PowerEdge 600SC server. Users on the forums were helpful enough to give instructions about configuration.

We have now discovered that every reboot requires we then do a "modprobe aic7xxx" to re-detect the DDS drive. Any suggestion how we get this to stick ?

I always just stick stuff like this in /etc/rc.d/rc.local somewhere near the end of the file.
