Hi all,
Just wondering which Repositories people are using fo r SME 6.01.
Also does anybody know of a complete list of upgrades to 6.01?
thanks?

What is YUM?

Both answers were right here in the forums, if you had used search.
type "yum list upgrades" into shell. It gives you the desired info depending on what repositoríes you've configured, e.g.:

I get a message saying tha tht ecommand YUM was not found, so I'm afraid I'm back to my question of what is YUM?

Google told me in 0.51 seconds. You have been waiting 24 hours for a reply.
YUM, in this context, stands for Yellow dog Updater, Modified.
Hope this helps

OK, I'll take pity on you, then.
Hint:
Read the 'devinfo' mailing list, and follow it backwards a month or two.
Pay particular attention to posts by Darrell May.

i dont want your pity.... i'd just like a list of the best repositories, its not a hard question... and yes google is pretty fast, but not really useful for questions based on experience, hence the reason why i thought i might ask the people who have had experience with it(but it would seem they are more interested in testing the speed of google!!!???!!!) yep maybe a search would be good, but to be honest as you should know you can spend the next 100 years trawling through the 146 zillion sites/forums/usergroups bla bla bla,
well i suppose it WAS too much to ask to have a single post full of Yum/SME Update recommendations.
well this question may be better suited..
can any one please advise me of the fastest search engine to use????
gee thanks again.

. . And I wasn't offering any. Not for you, anyway.
I wasn't answering you, you see (I seldom answer anonymous questions).
But for you, perhaps some pointers in this thread ... http://forums.contribs.org/index.php?topic=21205.0 ? . . since I've taken the time to answer anyway.
