I have been trying to get my LDAP directory to connect from outlook on a fresh install on XP pro. I have the server set up as a domain controller. This is all working perfectly.
I have the server name set as the I.P. but have also tried localhost and the domain name along with my LDAP Server.
I have tried setting the address book display name to * admin and the users name.
I have also tried authentification set as admin and the users ID and password.
The search bas has been set to dc=keane,dc=co,dc=nz
Whenever I try to access the address book I get an unable to connect error.
Has anyone had any success on doing this and if so any help would be appreciated.

Well I have played some more and can now access the local ldap directory.
My question now is can I access my own user address book as well.
I have put mu uid in. I.E. uid=ajkeane,dc=keane,dc=co,dc=nz and this does not work just says no data found.
Any help would be appreciated. I f I try user authentification I get a dn error syntax 34.
