Title: Removing my network places icons from win 2k / xp machines

I can seem to figure out how to remove the my  network places icon from the desktop in a win 2k box closest i found was permissions  in forum, any one got any ideas?

click on it once and press the delete button !

try it then , cause i have the problem of users being able to see shares in my network places which they cant access but tis tempting for them
