One or more of the (200+) users on a client's server appear to have contracted a virus that uses its own SMTP engine to send infected email to other users on the same SME 6.0 server. Clam does not appear to check this email. Is there a configuration change I can make so that it does check email between users on the same network?
Clam is effectively blocking a large number of emails daily on this server that come from outside the ip block that is allowed to relay email.
Thanks for any help,
jim

If you instal the version of Clamavis-ng from < www.pagefault.org > it has an option in the server manager panel to scan outgoing mail plus a few other things, see screen image at that site.
You could also look at my Virus and file blocking HOWTO using smtpfront-qmail which will block virus infected attachments in all incoming and outgoing smtp mail. It works extremely effectively, see
< http://mirror.contribs.org/smeserver/contribs/rmitchell/smeserver/howto/Virus%20and%20file%20blocking%20HOWTO%20using%20smtpfront-qmail%20for%20sme%20server.htm >
