Title: MySql port - how to open

I did a port scan to ensure that mysql was open on 3306, but it does not appear to be.

How do I open the port so that I can connect to it through php web pages?

The port should be open but do to sme security you cannot see it
install phpmyadmin and you will be able to administer mysql from your local network

you will find most of these basic answers by searching this forum

look for the contrib I would put the link here but it will be good practice using search

when installed just open your browser on a different computer
and type in https://sme's-ip #/phpmyadmin

use your admin login & password
