Title: Won't boot up "L"

After I installed e-smith (which seemed to install properly), it starts booting up the computer, and right baout where it searches for boot devices like CDs and floppys it just says "L". And sits there. Any idea how to fix this? I tried re-installing and booting from the boot disk. Thanks.

Exactly the same problem : (First SME-install)

After the setup, ths PC reboots, then blocks on the "L_", with the blinking cursor : no error number, Num.Lock still active.

I ran the setup a second time, but there xas the same problem.

I ran the SME 6.0 (the unsupported one :/ )

Has someone any idea ?

i gave an answer to this problem a few weeks ago.
try to search for "lilo" here in the forum.
remember to activate "all results".
