Title: simple printing question.

Hi,

before i install CUPS in an attempt to get my printer connected to the server to work from an XP client.

Could somebody please clarify, do i need to be logged into my XP computer with a valid username/password as listed on the SME box in order to print?

ahhh.  it seems any efforts are futile, since my printer is not supported by linux:

That is probably why LPng never worked either...


oh well.
