Title: ClamAV & Procmail
Post by: smeghead on May 13, 2004, 09:51:20 PM
Hi all

For the procmail gurus among us I have a curly one:

No matter what I try (& I have tried everthing on just about every post on the board) I cannot get procmail to allow the mail to be filtered by amavis/clamav (& spamassasin).

It doesn't seem to care what I do and how I configure the system; even when the internal & external smtpfront-qmail filters are set to qmail-queue.amavis it still bypasses the whole deal.

Desperate for a heads up on this one.

TIA

You may be missing one step

From
http://www.pagefault.org/howto/e-smith-antivirus.shtml

Enabling Spam Assassmin
To enable Spamassassin after installing and configuring these packages via the web manager panel at the command line type the commands:

/sbin/e-smith/db configuration setprop amavis-ng qmail-queue /var/qmail/bin/qmail-spamc
/sbin/e-smith/signal-event email-update.
