I am looking at implementing SME, and feel that I now understand the mail handling options etc, and the i-bays. One thing I have had a request for tho is a replacement for the Calender that people are used to using via Outlook / Micro$oft Exchange Server.
Is there a nice looking calender add-on for SME?
Thanks,
Phil

Web based twiggi or few different other web groupware addons are available for free.

You could also try this, it works rather well:
http://www.tech-geeks.org/contrib/bbutts/phpEventCalendar/readme.txt
it's web based and is so simple to use.
Hope that will help

But doesn't SME have webmail as part of it?

Hi PhilV,
Take a look here: http://www.verysimple.com/products.php/organizer.html
It is a CGI program and works OK, the email is a bit iffy, but the calender is good and all the icons are the same as MS LookOut so if your users are used to that they will feel at home sraight away. Hope this helps.
Regards,
Del :-)

Kronolith is a calendar you add to the SME's built in webmail. There are several add ons, calendar, tasklist, memos.

I have Kronolith installed on 6.0.1 and it seems to be fine over the web client. How do I configure my outlook to read this same calendar?

Outlook is also a web browser. Enter your url link to kronolith/horde and then set a favorite or shortcut link. This gives you the kronolith web page inside of Outlook...not sure if that is what you wanted, but I don't think you can make Outlook think horde is an exchange server with public calendars and folders.
